Bluespier Electronic Patient Management arrives: This is a state of the art system that allows the electronic management of patient records and information. Through the use of a fully secure electronic system we are able to implement quality control measures and monitor patient satisfaction with accuracy not possible with paper records. It is standard practice for joint replacement surgery to be monitored through the national joint registry but there is no equivalent system for foot and ankle surgery. Through the use of the Bluespier system patients undergoing surgery are functionally assessed using a validated scoring system (MOxFQ) both pre and post op.
